~~trying to reason with hurricane season~~
I would have been better off just re-facing them. I kick myself in the ass when I open them. Someday I will build some that have a continuous shelf I mean 2 shelves.

Yeah. The National Weather Service is reporting that some areas got 30 inches of rain as well.

Sally, what is your weather like? Do you have any concerns about the hurricane? I talked to one of my brothers who lives on the gulf coast and he's been busy prepping, another one lives just north of you and he isn't worried at all.

The weather is calm here today, but expected to start getting tropical storm conditions by tomorrow night. I'd be prepping if I were on the gulf coast as that looks like where it will hit. But there are still a couple of models showing it crossing the state and going through Daytona or Jacksonville. No bottled water to be found here though.

NFrom the projected computer modules it seems my area should be spared major
impact from Ian.
(I’m prepared anyway, glad I may not need to use the prep stuff)

My brother Jim and his wife are currently vacationing in the Florida Keys. They don't seem too worried about the hurricane. Posted on Facebook that there was a pre-hurricane pool party with a DJ going on, wind was picking up, but they were enjoying themselves before they had to barricade themselves in the hotel room the next day or later that night.

I'm worried. Really worried. I can't shut up about it.

Well I'm a little worried now. Those models of it going across the state and exiting through here are looking more promising. This one is going to bring significant rain and flooding too.

I get concerned you won't take it seriously enough after that time you left home with J and the Hungarian and the only thing that happened was the loss of electricity, and your fish.

How long are you going to wait to make a decision?

Is your roof tied down good and tight?

Welp, it looks like it coming straight to me so I better start doing something now.

Yeah we just put a new one on a few months ago. My entire backyard privacy fence is going down though, I know that.
