The two guys they got in Kansas were found on a Army base.In order to get on a U.S. military base they would have had to show their I.D.s.I'm sure the M.P.s at the gate ran their names and they came up wanted.So the marshals picked them up.I'm sure no LE from Toledo went all the way there just for these two genius's.Just a normal id check did those two in.Probably not smart enough to realize someone on base might actually want to know who they were.

The raid supposedly took place at MM's sister's house. Not sure if the sister lived in base housing or off-base. When my husband was an active duty Marine, we lived in base housing. MY experience was that if the driver had a current military ID for that station, then they would just let you through. When I had friends and family visit, they never checked any of their ID's. It really depends on the base and the security level as to whether or not they check ID's.

I have lived on military bases for years, and they do not look your ID up in any system. They only check your ID visually- so they would not of been the ones to tip of the police.

In the early days I wondered why TW would have offered a ride to John Sr. and thought they might have known each other, even just casually, which led to the offer. But I now think that he might never have been to the Straubs' house before and was so concerned about Johnny that the quickest way there was with someone who knew the house.

I've also been reading since the beginning & haven't witnessed anyone who claims to have insider info be treated in such a way that they refused to come back & keep contributing. I like to read facts, info that's pertinent to the investigation &/or the murders. If I read something that doesn't sit right with me or that looks like unfounded gossip, I may just challange the statement. That's the beauty of this board. I think the key is to not take things so personal. JMO

Yes, it probably did start off as a legitimate acronym, I don't doubt it. In the link that you posted it's about the right time frame, because I think the daughter may have been murdered in the 70's but I seem to remember seeing the show in the early 80's, like 80,81,81...horrible way to describe any human being...that Menendez defense lawyer using it in regards to the parents was pretty fucked up too!
