My POS phone is almost out of storage. So I should take random photos of the northern sky in the hope that even though I can't see the northern lights with my naked eye, my phone might? Seems logical and a good use of my time.

No. I have today off for Labor Day. I'm at home. Might go out shortly to smoke cigars and watch wrestling with friends.

Just checking. I worry about you and your job, Clang, don't you fuck it up. To retire from the State is a good thing.

I went for a walk with my mom yesterday along a river and there were almost no insects and birds. All I can think of is that the state had sprayed for mosquitos.

What the hell are we doing to this world?

I did fuck it up last week and go off payroll for 2 days but I might have an opportunity to work overtime on Saturdays from 630am-1230pm to make up the lost days.

Yeah retirement will be great. Wish I could do it now instead of 10 years, but need to wait until I can collect Social Security.

Fucking it up!!!

A couple decades ago (when my kids were little), every year there were a few areas in our town that would get inundated with black, woolly caterpillars. It doesn’t happen anymore. There was another area that would get inundated with tiny toads. Also gone.

I can’t point at crop dusters or large use of pesticides (that wouldn’t go over well here). IDK. Maybe some pesticide use combined with climate change and loss of habitat? It’s weird though.
